Love never gets old

Everyone wants to be in love at least once in their life.

Not just the fleeting excitement of brief romantic flings, but the real, deep, long term connection of two souls who have found that perfect time and place to grow together.

I was celebrant at a wedding for such a couple in June. After many years of friendship, knowing each other through all the highs and lows of individual lives, Franco and Allanna finally found that perfect time to be together. And when they celebrated that love in a wedding, surrounded by their family and friends, they did it with style and flair that made it the most spectacular memory for everyone involved.

The Venue

Projekt 3488 is one of the most beautiful and unique venues in Melbourne. Frankly, you will not find anything else like it. Surrounded by the beauty that is Warburton and Mt Donna Buang, a carefully thought out garden provides a magnificent backdrop for photos and ceremonies. The owner, Mark Fenech, has put a lot of time, energy, money and Love into making Projekt 3488 a breathtaking and warm venue. And it shows.

Btw, No I am not commissioned to write this, I just believe this is one of my favourite places and deserves the recognition.:)

The Ceremony

It's hard to describe ceremonies, mainly because they are all unique to the couple. As such, I don't really like to give too much detail, because it;s theirs, their special memories and that of their guests. So I won't say too much.

Beautiful bride

Allanna look exquisite in her dress, and Franco looked debonair, and they both only had eyes for each other. When they look at each other, you can't help but be caught up in that powerful love they clearly feel. Not only do they love each other openly and freely, they love and are loved by everyone else around them. By the end of the night, I felt more like a friend than ever before, and it was an honour to be part of this special day.

The Cake

I am not sure who the cake maker was, but they did an outstanding job. And the food for the night was abundant and delicious.

The cake

Sadly I didn't get photos of the food. I was too

busy eating it!

The catering staff were fantastic all night. I know some were from Helen's on the Hill, but all of them were quick, friendly and efficient.

What more can you ask for?

The Entertainment

Oh my!

Agent Cleave

Agent Cleave, Miss Frankie Valentine, Tanzer and The Huxleys put on a show to remember.

Very talented, fun loving, and encouraging the audience to step out of their viewing to take part in the Performance Art extravaganza.

Loved every inch of it!

Miss Frankie Valentine

Nights like this are why I do what I do.

It's not about being invited to the reception, although I am honoured when that occurs.

It's about meeting people who are wanting to celebrate the very best of what it means to be human. It's about the open display of love in so many different ways that each one is unique. It's about meeting other people who take great pleasure and satisfaction in working together to give a couple an entire day to cherish and remember. I meet so many wonderful people, from photographers, florists, venue operators and staff - but most of all my clients. People like Mr & Mrs Biasuzzo. Beautiful people who touched my heart

May you live as long as you wish, and love as long as you live xx
